Dentist Offers Kids Money for Sweets in 'Candy Buyback' Program

Trick-or-treaters who would rather have cash than candy may get their wish. To promote dental hygiene, a New Jersey dentist is offering money to kids who hand over their sweets. When Dr. Robin Lucas expanded her practice to include pediatrics two years ago, she decided to start a "Candy Buyback" program to quash the sugar rush that comes at the end of October.
