Deputy Mistakes Man for Fugitive and Tries to Arrest Him in His Own Yard

A tense confrontation between a deputy and a homeowner, in front of his own house, was caught on video. Clarence Evans was playing with his two children when the deputy approached him. His wife, Kenya, recorded the encounter on her cellphone. The deputy believed Evans fit the description of a fugitive, but Evans insisted that he had the wrong man and refused to be taken into custody, while his wife pleaded for the deputy to stop. A second deputy showed up and realized they had the wrong man.
