Did Governor Cuomo Reassign a State Trooper for Dating His Daughter?

Is New York governor Andrew Cuomo punishing a State Trooper for dating his daughter by transferring him to a far away jurisdiction? A State Police spokesman told Inside Edition that Trooper Dane Pfeiffer requested a voluntary transfer to gain more field experience and advance his career. Cuomo’s 25-year-old daughter Cara Kennedy-Cuomo began dating Pfeiffer while they were locked down at the Governor’s mansion during the pandemic. Pfeiffer was one of Cuomo’s bodyguards.
