The first lady flew from Washington, D.C. to Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday night unannounced. Melania Trump's secret flight was discovered by amateur aircraft watchers, who spotted the first lady's code name, “Exec1F.” Melania’s secret flight came under fire because her departure came on the same day President Trump canceled a military flight for Democrats heading to Afghanistan. Melania left town as both sides battled over the longest government shutdown in history.
