An environmentalist went deep underwater and way back in time. Fabio Mataccheria found the site of a Roman ship that is thought to have sunk 2,000 years ago. The discovery was made off the coast of Taranto, Italy. Mataccheria, who is a history professor, archaeology lover and diver, used a cartographic GPS to make the discovery where he found hundreds of tiles and other objects from the ancient cargo ship hidden in rocks.
