Doctors Remove Ceramic Egg From a Python That Swallowed It Whole

Veterinarians at the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital in Australia performed an endoscopy on the suffering snake and saw a major blockage! A local farmer told vets that he put the ceramic egg in his chicken coop to encourage the chickens to lay more eggs. The coastal carpet python got into the coop and ate a chicken egg, then swallowed the ceramic egg too! In order to save its life, Byron Bay vets removed the ceramic egg back the way it came,  through its mouth.
