Doctors Say Whooping Cough Cases Are Making a Comeback Due to ‘Vaccine Fatigue’

A mysterious “100-day cough” is gripping the nation following the holidays. Whooping cough is usually associated with children but doctors say it's making a comeback because of post-pandemic vaccine fatigue. Suffolk County, New York, is reporting an outbreak of 108 cases. In Los Angeles, health officials say a surge of patients are suffering from the so-called "double whammy." Health care workers are being advised to mask up in an attempt to stop the spread.
