Does the Spirit of Aaron Burr Haunt New York City’s Morris-Jumel Mansion?

The 250-year-old Morris-Jumel Mansion is tucked away in a corner of Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. Built in 1765, its estate once spread over hundreds of acres, from river to river. Now the oldest standing mansion in New York City, some people think the place is haunted by the spirits of its former residents. Those occupants include Aaron Burr, his wife, Eliza Jumel, and several slaves.
