April 2, 2021

First responders arrive at a house fire and fear the worst. A deputy makes an emergency escape route by smashing in the glass door with his baton. At first, no one emerges as smoke continues to billow out of the house. Then, a dog emerges from the flaming house. The terrified pooch’s white fur is covered in soot.
