E. Jean Carroll Tells Donald Trump’s Lawyer She Was Raped

The woman accusing Donald Trump of rape was subject to a tense cross-examination by his lawyer, Joe Tacopina. Tacopina pressed E. Jean Carroll on not being able to remember the exact date of the alleged assault. She responded by saying “I wish to heaven I could.” Carroll claims Trump invited her to go to the lingerie section on the sixth floor of the upscale Manhattan department store, Bergdorf Goodman, nearly three decades ago.
