Dr. Oz Says He Missed Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease in His Own Mother

Dr. Mehmet Oz revealed that his mother has Alzheimer's disease. “I’m feeling guilty because I completely missed the signs until fairly late in the process,” Oz told People. After Oz's father died last February, he said he now realizes there were subtle changes in her demeanor. “If the right word was, ‘You look beautiful today,’ she would use, ‘You look pretty prettier today.’ I missed those clues,” Oz said.
