Driver Who Plowed Car Into Diners Says He Accidentally Hit Gas Instead of Brake

Heartstopping video shows a car plowing into diners enjoying their dinner outside a restaurant. The Toyota SUV zipped across four lanes of traffic before slamming into the tent set up in a restaurant parking lot. One person was killed and seven others injured in what appears to be a tragic accident. The 69-year-old driver is said to have hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, sending the car careening towards diners.
