Former NFL Player Matt Araiza Dropped From Rape Lawsuit

Former Buffalo Bills punter Matt Araiza appeared at a news conference after he was dropped from a civil lawsuit accusing him of rape. A 17-year-old college student alleged that after having sex outside with Araiza, he took her inside a home. That’s where she says she was raped by two football teammates during a Halloween party in 2021. Araiza was later cleared in a criminal investigation. Prosecutors say he was not present when the alleged gang rape occurred.
