Ex-Gang Member Gets Face Tattoo Removed at California Hospital to Begin Anew

A hospital in California is helping former gang members erase the painful memories of their past. Loma Linda University started a free tattoo removal program. Former gang member David Loya has taken part, saying his clients don’t believe in him because of his facial tattoos. “It was difficult for them to receive me because of my tattoos.” Now, that’s about to change.
