Fake Drugs Put in Ocean to Catch Cartel Members in Australia: Cops

After a shipment of cocaine bound for Australia was intercepted near South America in November, Australian authorities pulled a bait and switch. They dropped packages of fake drugs into the ocean off the coast of Western Australia, hoping members of a drug smuggling organization based in Australia would show up to retrieve them. Officials say they found 12 people in possession of the packages of fake drugs. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
