Families Say They Never Lost Hope as Arrest Made in 32-Year-Old Cold Case

Authorities have announced a break in a double homicide cold case that's more than three decades old. Charges have been filed against an already imprisoned man named David Misch in the 1986 murders of Michelle Xavier and Jennifer Duey. In 2016, a position was created to focus on cold cases. A detective re-examined files, as well as several pieces of evidence, including those that had been processed for DNA in recent years.
