Family Gets $28 Million Settlement After Falling Tree Kills Mom During Wedding

It was a horrifying scene as a tree collapsed on a wedding party while they were posing for pictures in 2016. Video shows rescuers trying to free seven people from underneath the tree. A 3-year-old child suffered irreparable brain damage and the bride’s mother tragically lost her life. Members of the family have reached a $28 million dollar settlement with the city of Whittier, California over the incident.
