Farmers in France made a statement with a massive food giveaway. Potato farmers reportedly dumped 30 tons of spuds outside the National Assembly in Paris to protest an unpopular trade deal. Trade unions say the EU-Mercosur trade deal will hurt European farmers by giving an advantage to competition in South America.
