FDNY Sends Robot Dog to Help With Rescue Efforts After Parking Garage Collapses

When a New York City parking garage collapsed, the building became too unstable for rescuers to search through the wreckage. That's when the fire department sent in Spot the robotic dog to look for victims. The robot canine comes with a camera and two-way communication. Although the robot dog may be an important new tool in rescue efforts, it will never be as loveable as a real-life dog.
