Fierce Competitors Square Off in World Thumb Wrestling Championships in England
July 30, 2019
It was all hands on deck for the World Thumb Wrestling Championships in Suffolk, England. Combatants squared off, thumb to thumb, in a tiny wooden ring, to see who would be top thumb. And while organized thumb wrestling may seem like the kind of idea hatched after a few pints at the pub, there are some rules and regulations. Organizer Roy Van Bellis said competitors have 60 seconds to pin their opponents. This was the competition's 11th year.
