Firefighter Climbs Over Car to Help Victims in Wisconsin Car Pileup
Whiteout conditions on a Wisconsin highway caused a massive 131-vehicle pileup Sunday. It was the largest pileup in the state’s history and 911 operators received more than 700 calls from the town of Neenah between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office released bodycam video of a deputy responding to the deadly crash. A firefighter can be seen climbing over a car in the apocalyptic scene. Andrew Schefelker, 30, a middle and high school science teacher, was killed in the crash.
