Firefighters Finish Laying Sod for Florida Man Who Suffered Heart Attack

When a man had a heart attack while working on his lawn, firefighters rushed him to the hospital, then went back to his house to finish the job. Gene Work says he started to feel chest pains while laying down sod. His wife, Melissa recognized the signs of a heart attack and called 911. The couple asked their brother-in-law to finish what Gene started so the sod wouldn't die, but help was already on the way.
