February 5, 2019

At least 10 people are dead and dozens more have been injured after a fire tore through an apartment building in Paris in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Police say they have arrested a 40-year-old woman who lived in the building on Rue Erlanger on suspicion of arson following the deadly blaze. About 50 people were rescued from the building, officials said, in what is being described as the deadliest fire the city has seen since 2005.
