Flight 93 'Tower of Voices' Memorial Dedicated on Eve of 9/11 Anniversary
September 10, 2018
A dedication ceremony for the "Tower of Voices" was held Sunday in Pennsylvania. The 93-foot-tall tower is part of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville. It features 40 wind chimes, one for each of the flight's 40 passengers and crew members who died on Sept. 11, 2001. Gordon Felt, whose brother Edward was a passenger on the flight, said, "They're with us in spirit, certainly, and I hope they're looking down on us and smiling."
