Flight Attendants Learn Self-Defense After Increase in Attacks by Passengers

Another meltdown on an airplane ended with a passenger being duct-taped to her seat. It’s the latest in a series of disruptions on planes that have prompted airlines to send their crew members for self-defense lessons to fight back. The TSA is conducting classes to teach flight attendants how to restrain out-of-control passengers in confined spaces.
