17-Year-Old to Be Charged as Adult in Alleged Attack on Teacher's Aide

The 17-year-old student who police say violently attacked a teacher’s aide will be charged with aggravated battery as an adult, according to court documents. He is now being held in Juvenile jail with bail set at $1 million. The teacher’s aide shared on a GoFundMe created for her that she “never took the Nintendo Switch from him. From anyone that's read or heard differently, I've been told this was unfortunately misinformation.”
