Florida GOP Candidate Admits She Faked College Degree

A political candidate is apologizing after being caught in a scandal over a nonexistent college degree. Small-business owner Melissa Howard is a Republican running for the Florida state legislature. The 46-year-old posted a photo of herself and her mom proudly displaying her supposed diploma, which claimed she had a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Miami University in Ohio. But the university has said no such degree exists.
