Florida Homecoming Queen Accused of Rigging Votes With Mother’s Help

A Florida high school homecoming queen, Emily Rose Grover, and her mother, Laura Rose Carroll, who is an assistant principal at an elementary school, were arrested for allegedly rigging the Tate High School homecoming queen election in the teen's favor. The results were so surprising and lopsided that rumors swirled about the homecoming queen election being rigged. Investigators said hundreds of votes in the homecoming court were flagged as fraudulent. The two were charged with computer crimes.
