Florida TV Reporter Victoria Price Has Thyroid Tumor Spotted by Viewer

A Tampa television reporter was so focused on covering the COVID-19 pandemic in one of the nation’s hotspots that her own health was the last thing on her mind. Then Victoria Price received an email from an eagle-eyed viewer, reading, “Just saw your news report. What concerned me is the lump on your neck. Please have your thyroid checked. Reminds me of my neck. Mine turned out to be cancer.” Price got her throat checked out. The viewer was right; she had thyroid cancer.
