Florida Woman Calls Louvre Closure Due to Protests ‘Heartbreaking’

The Musee du Louvre houses the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, but on March 27th, no one went inside. Museum workers took part in a strike about retirement age that has seen French employees in many industries walking out of work. The over 230 year old museum reportedly sees about 7.8 million visitors every year. One Florida resident says she is “heartbroken” that she won’t be one of them. Inside Edition Digital has more.
