In "Daughters of the Sexual Revolution: The Untold Story of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders," Dana Presley Killmer, Shannon Baker Werthmann and Toni Washington said the rules for being a member were strict. The women could not go out in jeans. Their hair and makeup always had to be done, and they weren't allowed to talk to the football players.
