Formerly Paralyzed Star Athlete Returns to Track With Walker

Tre Lawson's life used to revolve around track. After winning a meet his senior year of high school, he was in a devastating car accident that left him in a coma with a broken back and abdominal and head injuries. Realizing he couldn't move his legs when he woke up was "a huge depressing moment," he said. But the 19-year-old was determined not to give up, and has worked hard to recover. He recently returned to his high school track in Georgia with his walker.
