Four College Students Rescued by Helicopter From Red River Gorge

Four college students were rescued by helicopter after becoming stranded in Kentucky. Powell County officials said the Asbury University students "underestimated the weather conditions” before heading out on an overnight camping trip in Red River Gorge. Rescue teams determined reaching the students by police helicopter would be the safest route. Authorities say, "This call was one of the most dangerous rescues ever attempted in the Gorge."
