Questions remain about the final days of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa at their home in New Mexico. Investigators established that Hackman died on February 17, nine days before his body was discovered, by examining his pacemaker. Hackman was one of three million Americans to have pacemakers attached to their hearts. The battery-powered device controls an irregular heartbeat and records any unusual activity.
