George Clooney Compares Meghan Markle’s Media Attention to Princess Diana

George Clooney is coming to the defense of Meghan Markle, comparing the harsh treatment she's receiving from the media to the treatment of Princess Diana. "She's a woman who is seven months pregnant, and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was, and it's history repeating itself," Clooney told reporters on Tuesday. Diana, Meghan's late mother-in-law, endured scrutiny from the media around the world before, during and after her marriage to Prince Charles.
