Giant Bee Thought to Be Extinct Seen for 1st Time in Nearly 40 Years

Could this be the world's largest bee? Wildlife experts estimate its wingspan to measure two and a half inches.  Now there is a lot of buzz that a species thought to be extinct isn't actually extinct. The bee is considered the holy grail of bees and is native to Indonesian islands. It hasn't been seen since 1981. The bee is one of global wildlife conservation's top 25 most wanted species to find.
