Halsey Shares Compassion for Kanye West Following His Twitter Rant

Kanye West was very active on Twitter Monday night, posting a series of distressing tweets, and deleting some quickly. Many were quick to speculate on the rapper’s mental health. West has been open about his struggle with bipolar disorder. Halsey, who has bipolar disorder as well, tweeted, “A manic episode isn’t a joke. If you can’t offer understanding or sympathy, offer your silence.” The tweets followed a meandering speech Kanye gave at his first presidential rally in South Carolina on Sunday.
