Daughter of Serial Killer Says She Met Gilgo Suspect’s Wife

The embattled family of the accused Gilgo Beach killer, Rex Heuermann, received comfort from a woman who knows first-hand what they are going through. Melissa Moore's father is Keith Jesperson, the notorious “Happy Face Killer.” After Heuermann was charged with murdering three women, Moore's sense of compassion led her to set up a GoFundMe page for the Heuermann family. That led to Moore meeting the Gilgo Beach suspect's family. Heuerman has pleaded not guilty.
