Hat Worn By Wicked Witch Of the West Up For Auction

The hat worn by actor Margaret Hamilton – aka the Wicked Witch of the West – will soon be up for grabs, courtesy of Heritage Auctions. The wide-brimmed headpiece comes to a point at the top of its 14-inch height, and features an elastic chin strap that Hamilton wore during flying scenes. The witch top was created by the Hollywood costume designer Gilbert Adrian, who was also responsible for Dorothy's ruby slippers.
