Headless Torso in Idaho Cave Identified as 1916 Bootlegger on the Lam

More than 100 years after a bootlegger on the run from the law met his grisly end in an Idaho cave, experts identified his remains. Joseph Henry Loveless is the man whose torso was found by a family in 1979. He was last seen in 1916 after escaping from jail by sawing through the bars. Authorities believe Loveless, a bootlegger, had killed his wife, Agnes. Thanks to advances in genetic genealogy, he's finally been identified. But it is unclear how he died, and his head has never been found.
