Helicopter Rescues 2 Men and Dog From Sinking Van Amid Deadly Chile Floods

Two men and a small dog were rescued from rising flood waters in Chile. The two locals and a dog climbed on top of a sinking van, surrounded by the muddy water of the Maipo river that overflowed its banks. The top of the vehicle is barely visible. This rescue was successful, but these floods and landslides have reportedly caused fatalities. The Chilean government declared a state of catastrophe in seven regions because of the storm’s impact.
