High School Football Players' 2012 Rape of Teen Was Documented in Photos, Videos

In 2012, a 16-year-old girl was raped by two high school football players in Steubenville, Ohio. Horrific videos and photos of the attack soon surfaced on social media, showing the victim and people mocking her. Crime blogger and former Steubenville resident Alexandria Goddard was determined to find out what had happened, piecing together the incident and its aftermath through social media posts. "The complete lack of empathy, that was what was so frightening," Goddard said.
