'Highway Hero' Uses Pit Maneuver After Driver Loses Consciousness

A car swerved all over a highway and slammed into a wall. The young husband and wife in the car behind sped up to see what was happening. The driver appeared to be passed out at the wheel. Rene Villarreal-Albe, 29, decided to perform a pit maneuver, which is usually done by police to stop suspects from getting away. Villarreal-Albe and his wife Andrea spoke with Inside Edition. It turned out, authorities say, the stricken driver had suffered a medical emergency and was unconscious.
