Hockey Fan Gets Police Visit When Neighbors Mistake Cheers for Domestic Dispute

A Florida couple called 911 after hearing their upstairs neighbor yelling “Shoot! Shoot!” But when police arrived, the neighbor turned out to be a passionate fan watching the Stanley Cup finals. Devon Garnett got pretty excited cheering on his beloved Tampa Bay Lightning team. “I yelled out, really loud, ‘Shoot! Shoot!’” he told Inside Edition. When the neighbors realized it was all a big mistake, they sent over a 12-pack of beer, along with a note.
