Honor Flight Helps 100-Year-Old World War II Vet Jump Out of Plane in Arizona

Charles Montanaro has seen and done a lot in his life. The Nevada man is a World War II veteran, who served in the United States Merchant Marine. One thing that was still on his list? Skydiving. The non-profit organization Honor Flight Nevada was happy to help him. “I told Honor Flight when I was 98 that I wanted to jump when I was 100. That's about the only thing i haven't done,” Charles told KPHO. “It took me 100 years to get nerve enough to get old enough,” he said.
