How a Dispute Over 2 Kids' Bikes Escalated Into a Standoff With Police

A neighborhood spat devolved into a full-blown SWAT team crisis in Utah on Sunday. Video shows a Millcreek man, later identified by police as 61-year-old Richard Lindem, stopping two brothers riding dirt bikes in the neighborhood. He appears to slap one of the boys' helmets, then talks to the other and seems to slap his helmet too. The kids' angry father, Chris Ollerton, then showed up, at which point cops say Lindem pulled a gun and eventually fired three shots at Ollerton.
