How Amy Winehouse Battled With Addiction as Her Fame Grew

Amy Winehouse was nominated for six awards at the 2008 Grammys, including Album of the Year, but as her fame grew, she became more steeped in scandal. The British singer was touring the world after the release of her "Back to Black" album, and her battles with alcohol and drugs played out on stage. Winehouse was just 27 when she died inside her London home in July 2011 due to alcohol poisoning. "Back to Black" posthumously became, for a time, the UK's best-selling album of the 21st century.
