How Comedian Aboard Westerdam Ship Got Home Amid Coronavirus Scare

He's a cruise-ship comedian, but there's nothing funny about his escape from coronavirus hell. Frank King was hired to perform standup on board the ill-fated cruise ship Westerdam. The ship was turned away from five Asian ports for fear of coronavirus contamination before being allowed to dock in Cambodia, where relieved passengers kissed the ground. The American comedian reportedly tested negative for the virus, but he says he was told to stay in his hotel and not leave.
