Adults coming home for Christmas are finding themselves repulsed by the expired items in their parents' refrigerators. The trend is bringing up an important question: are Christmas leftovers still safe to eat? Chef Jason Goldstein of Chop Happy tells Inside Edition’s Alison Hall that what you store your food in matters. “Don't use plastic because plastic is porous and is easier to contaminate, use glass to store your food,” says Goldstein.
