Many are sharing personal stories of how the pop star helped them through their battles with addiction, mental illness and body image. “In 7th grade I had my suicide note written & struggled with self-harm & 'Skyscraper' saved me,” reads one heartfelt tweet. Lovato recorded that song in 2011 after completing treatment for "emotional and physical issues."
